Meet Dr. Mouladje Maurice, a distinguished figure in the field of medicine and clinical biology. With an impressive academic background and extensive professional experience, he embodies excellence in healthcare.

Dr. Maurice’s educational journey is marked by significant milestones. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Yaoundé I in 1998, and later pursued specialized training in clinical biology at the same institution from 2004 to 2009. His journey commenced with the achievement of a Baccalauréat C with honors from the Lycée Classique de Bafoussam in 1988.

Dr. Maurice’s professional journey is a testament to his commitment to healthcare. He served as a Chief Medical Officer at the Mundemba District Hospital in the South West Region of Cameroon from 1999 to 2004. During this tenure, he demonstrated exceptional leadership by managing resources, performing surgeries, delivering babies, and offering pediatric care.  Currently, as the Head of the Laboratory Department at the Buea Regional Hospital since 2009, Dr. Maurice continues to contribute significantly to the healthcare landscape. His dedication is not limited to clinical practice; he actively engages in further education and training, focusing on critical areas like HIV/STD diagnostics, malaria therapeutics, and laboratory management.  Dr. Maurice’s passion for healthcare improvement extends to teaching as well, as he imparts his knowledge as an educator of clinical biochemistry to second-year medical students at the Institut Supérieur de Technologies Médicales (ISTM) in Yaoundé.
