A young man empowered by Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS) in fish production in Mokolo in the Far North region of Cameroon, Maliki Nassourou, recently received a Presidential award as the best fish producer in Cameroon. The Paul and Chantal Biya prize award ceremony organised by the Cameroons Finance Ministry took place at the Yaoundé Hilton hotel. Maliki was among the competitors in Cameroon’s ten regions, competing against contenders from Morocco, France, and the Republic of Congo. He moved to Cameroon some years back due to the Boko Haram conflict in Nigeria. He has expressed gratitude to GHSS for supporting him to be successful. Maliki has named his aquaculture project “The GHSS Village”. Global Health Systems Solutions is empowering 15000 youths in Cameroon with funding from the MasterCard Foundation.
Un jeune acteur de GHSS reçoit le prix présidentiel du meilleur pisciculteur du Cameroun
Un jeune homme acteur de la production piscicole de Mokolo, dans l’Extrême-Nord du Cameroun, Maliki Nassourou, formé par Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS), a récemment reçu le prix présidentiel du meilleur producteur de poisson au Cameroun. La cérémonie de remise du prix Paul et Chantal Biya, organisée par le Ministère Camerounais des Finances, s’est déroulée à l’hôtel Hilton de Yaoundé. Maliki figurait parmi les concurrents des dix régions du Cameroun, en compétition avec des concurrents du Maroc, de la France et de la République du Congo. Il c’était expatrié au Cameroun il y a quelques années en raison du conflit avec Boko Haram au Nigéria. Il a exprimé sa gratitude à GHSS pour son soutien à la réussite de son projet. Maliki a baptisé son projet d’aquaculture « Le Village GHSS ». Global Health Systems Solutions est dans le processus de rendre autonome 15 000 jeunes au Cameroun grâce au financement de la Fondation MasterCard.
