The first training Workshop on Strengthening Laboratory Management toward Accreditation (SLMTA 1), involving medical laboratory professionals from selected reference laboratories in Kinshasa, Haut Katanga, and Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Cong) has been conducted..
The trained laboratory professionals from selected reference laboratories are expected to use the skills and knowledge acquired during the training to improve the quality management systems of their respective medical laboratories. They will also contribute towards enabling these laboratories to obtain ISO 15 189 accreditation.
GHSS organized this workshop within the framework of implementing the PEPFAR project funded through the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in collaboration with the CDC DR Congo.
