Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS) is donating medical equipment to several health facilities to enhance young people’s access to sexual reproductive healthcare (SRH). The donations include internet modems, laptops, tablets, plastic armchairs, foldable tables, cupboards, family planning sets, SRH charts, forceps trays, forcep boxes, kidney dishes, BP machines, post-abortion kits, and medium hospital scales.
Health facilities that have received the donations include; Buea town integrated health Center, Buea Road Integrated Health Center, ‘Centre Medical d’Arrondissement’, (CMA); Down Beach, Limbe, ‘Centre Medical d’Arrondissement’ (CMA); Mile 4 Limbe, ‘Centre Medical d’Arrondissement’ (CMA); Mutengene, ‘Centre Medical d’Arrondissement’, (CMA) Holforth, Bangem district hospital and Muaku health centre, in the Southwest region, Nkwen district hospital, Nkwen rural integrated health center, Santa district hospital, Santa Urban HC in the Northwest region, Bonassama district hospital and ‘Centre Medical d’Arrondissement’, (CMA ) Bonamikano, in the Littoral region and CSI Bafou Chefferie, and Fometa health centre, in Dschang in the West region. GHSS’s donations are part of a project to help establish youth-friendly SRH units within existing health centres, aiming to improve access to SRH services for young people.
