Empowering Cameroon Youths: Field Supervisors and mentors urged to protect Young people

Field supervisors and mentors are tasked with protecting participants in the six-month youth empowerment project in North West Cameroon and other regions. Their top priority should be to ensure the safety and well-being of all project participants to achieve the best possible results.

Field supervisors and mentors are tasked with protecting participants in the six-month youth empowerment project in North West Cameroon and other regions. Their top priority should be to ensure the safety and well-being of all project participants to achieve the best possible results.

During a workshop held in Bamenda on June 12, 2024, mentors and supervisors were instructed to respect participants’ rights, promote empowerment, uphold confidentiality and information sharing, and commit to partnership and collaboration.

Participants have shown a deep understanding of safeguarding and its importance for the project’s objectives. The training has provided clear guidance on identifying and addressing safeguarding issues and supporting affected individuals.
