Call for Tender for the Supply of Minor Repairs to GHSS

AN OPEN NATIONAL CALL FOR TENDER No 0060/ED/GHSS/2026 FOR THE SUPPLY OF MINOR REPAIRS TO GLOBAL HEALTH SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS (GHSS)
1.1 Subject of the Present Call for Supply

The Executive Director (ED) of GHSS announces an open national call for tender for the supply of Minor Repairs to Global Health Systems Solutions.

1.2. Prospective Candidates

The present call is open to companies duly recognized by Republic of Cameroon.

1.3 Composition of Files

Prospective bidders can visit GHSS Office at Denver-Bonamoussadi, Douala, Littoral Region or Call our office, to obtain more information about the bid. In addition, each Tender should be written in either English or French and in 2 Copies and seal in an A3 Envelope addressed to the Executive Director, Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS) and marked “Very Confidential”

1.4 Composition of File

Bidders should submit Quotations of the said bid to the following email addresses procurement@ghsscm.org, the deadline for receiving quotes is June 1, 2026.

1.5 Deposit of Offers
  1. Upgrade Electrical system:
    • Purchase and installation of bulbs to improve lighting.
    • Installation of dedicated ENEO three-phase power line from NPHL main meter.
    • Installation of dedicated backup generator for the biobank.
    • Installation of a high-capacity central circuit breaker for the building.
    • Installation of dedicated electrical panels with individual breakers for:
      • Each -80°C freezer
      • Each air conditioning unit
      • Other equipment
      • Lighting system
    • Purchase and installation of industrial-grade sockets and switches
    • Overhead cable routing (no floor-level wiring)
    • Installation of voltage regulators and ups systems to protect sensitive equipment.

  2. Access control; Proposed security enhancements includes:

    • Reinforcement of window and door bars.
    • Full metal reinforcement of doors.
    • One-way emergency exit door system.
    • Security system installation at the main entrance.
    • Biometric access control for the freezer room.
    • Reinforced metal grid between roof and ceiling to prevent overhead intrusion
    • Installation of Video surveillance system (cameras) covering both interior and
      exterior areas
    • Purchase and installation of remote temperature monitoring system to include:
      • Thermometers / sensors
      • Modem
      • Monitoring units
      • Alert system
  3. Fire Safety
    • Smoke detectors
    • Manual triggers
    • Indoor sirens and outdoor siren
  4. Air Conditioning System
    • Purchase and installation of ten (10) 3HP air conditioning units in the freezer
      compartment.
    • Installation of ten (10) metal protective cages for outdoor compressor units.
    • Purchase and installation of four (4) 6 or 7 HP Horizontal air conditioning units.
    • Installation of four (4) metal protective cages for horizontal units.
  5. Metal work (Front door, emergency exit, 2 window grilles)
  6. Partitioning of space (LAB)

    • Hermetic separation of the freezer room from other areas.

    • Remove aluminum partitioning in the back of the work area.

    • Use the same aluminum to partition the front section of the building.

      • Designation of separate rooms for:

      • Data management

      • Sample reception and processing.

    •  Installation of laboratory benches in the sample processing room.
    • Building of a second wall of the freezer room (Protective wall)
  7. Flooring:
    • Remove existing ties
    • Installation of seamless epoxy flooring throughout the building
  8. Upgrading Ceiling:
    • Inspection and repair of any broken ceiling.
    • Replace ceiling with materials suitable for low-temperature environment.
  9. Upgrade Plumbing system:
    • Installation of two (2) hand washing stations.
    • One in sample processing room.
    • One at the exit of biobank.
    • Installation of soak away pit for wastewater management.
  10. Roofing
    • Check roof for cracks and leaks.
    • Change / replace / repair cracks, leakages.
  11. Painting 
    • Application of Sigma/Gravitex paint internally and externally.
    • Paint resistant to extreme weather conditions and temperature variations.
  12. Demolishing of ply wood
