GHSS Equips Commercial Motorcycle Riders with Protective Equipment across EEE-P Regions

As part of the ongoing efforts under the Education and Economic Empowerment Project (EEE-P), Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS) has successfully distributed essential protective equipment to commercial motorcycle riders across all six implementation regions. These riders, enrolled under the Mini Employability
Skills Training (Mini EST) category, received equipment, including helmets, raincoats, rain boots, and bike umbrellas, all vital for their safety and comfort on the road.

This initiative not only enhances the physical protection of participants but also reinforces the project’s commitment to dignified and sustainable economic empowerment. The motorcycle program is one of several skill-building tracks designed to equip youth with practical tools for self-reliance and income
generation.

Feedback from the field has been overwhelmingly positive. Participants expressed profound gratitude to GHSS and the project’s funder, MasterCard Foundation, for what many described as a rare and transformative opportunity. The provision of protective equipment has elevated their sense of professionalism and safety, while boosting their visibility and confidence in their communities.

This milestone reflects the broader mission of EEE-P: to empower youth with the skills, resources, and support needed to thrive economically and socially. GHSS remains committed to expanding access and impact across all regions.
