Organization information:
Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS) is a non-governmental and not for profit organization dedicated to seeking innovative solutions to strengthen health systems in developing countries for effective service delivery and surveillance of infectious, non-infectious, and neglected tropical diseases. We focus in three key areas: improve laboratory systems and services critical for disease management, surveillance, and prevention; enhance field surveillance and epidemiological training for relevant animal and human-health to mitigate threats posed by diseases; and improve service delivery at all health levels.

Our major collaborators include Ministries of Health, World Health Organization (WHO), United State Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Africa Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Master Card Foundation and several bi-lateral organizations.

We are currently seeking outstanding, qualified and competent individuals for the following positions, and for a contract period of 01 year, renewable, with very competitive and negotiable salaries:

1. Laboratory Mentors
   Qualification and experience: MSc in Microbiology, Chemical Pathology and any Medical Laboratory Science related course with 2 years working experience in clinical laboratory and support services.
2. Data Management Staff
   Qualification and Experience: MPH, MSc in epidemiology and disease control, Other Certificates in Health Statics with at least one-year experience in analysis and management of health data.
3. Quality Assurance Corps (Q-Corps)
   Qualification: BSc in laboratory science, Master’s Degree or its equivalent in any Biomedical Science field.

Education & Experience

• MPH, MSc in epidemiology and disease control, Other Certificates in Health Statics with at least one-year experience in analysis and management of health data.
• BSc in laboratory science, Master’s Degree or its equivalent in any Biomedical Science field.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Languages

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and French.

Remuneration

• The salary for this position is very competitive, attractive and negotiable.
• This is a full time position for one (1) contract year with the possibility to renew
